David Willmer joins Board of Directors

David Willmer joins the board after substantial developments to the work Maltacourt do in projects, events and time critical shipments, which have seen Maltacourt secure work for a number of prestigious events around the world. Most notably, securing the opportunity to work on the Ryder Cup in France earlier last year, where Maltacourt supported the install of over 12,500sqm of scaffolding, sub-structures, temporary bridges, walkways, steps, timber walls and cladding, as well as temporary structures, event furniture, giant LED screens and camera towers.

The event required the planning and transport of 50 full arctic trucks and 20, 40ft HC containers.

Matt Beech, Maltacourt CEO, spoke enthusiastically about the appointment, explaining “I’m excited about the future and working more strategically with David. David’s achievements to date have been significant and the appointment is very much deserved”

David will continue to operate from our Heathrow facility and build on the momentum of last year, further developing Maltacourt’s stance as the projects and events partner of choice.

David added: “It’s been a fantastic 3 years so far in this field for Maltacourt and I am very grateful to be on the board of directors as a result. I feel that in the coming months and years, we will see this side of our business continue to grow and thrive, with much more planned and in the pipeline on both short and long term projects and events.”
